This website is made of static pages. The hosting provider and a content delivery network process IP addresses and access logs for every visit, as any web host does, and these logs are kept by those providers, not edited by hand.
A visit counter from statinside.com records page visits. Pressing the download button records the time, your IP address, your browser user agent and the referral source, if there is one, to count downloads. Then the site sends you on to the installer. Nothing else is stored.
The site has no account system and no sign-up form, so there is nothing to log in to. The only things recorded are the ones described above: server logs, the visit counter and the download record.
The SeedSpindle app
SeedSpindle runs locally on your Windows PC and sends no telemetry. Your chats, working folders and API keys stay on the machine, and the app needs no account. Nothing about how you use it is reported back.
Secrets that appear in tool output are redacted before they reach the model. That helps when a command prints a token or a password by mistake, but it is a safety net, so keep sensitive values out of the files you open.
Prompts go only to the model endpoint you pick. With a cloud AI provider, the prompt and the text of the files the agent reads go to that provider. With a local model nothing leaves the PC.
Optional features that use the network
Web search is optional and can run over an anonymizing network if you turn that on. The agent's web_search and http_get tools contact outside servers only when you ask for a lookup, for example to read a documentation page.
Control of chats from a phone browser uses one outbound connection. You can switch it off, and it is not needed for normal work on your PC. Leave it off if you only use the app at your desk.
Update checks use the network to learn whether a new version exists. The app shows an Update button when one is ready, and the installer build enables this. Version 2.9.28 came out on 4 Nov 2026.
Your choices
You choose which model handles your prompts by entering its endpoint in the settings. The app sends text only to that destination, so your choice between a cloud AI provider, a local model and the built-in model decides where the text goes.
You choose how much the agent does by switching between Auto-run, Ask first and Plan only. Ask first pauses before actions that change something and shows the diff, while Plan only writes a plan and runs nothing.
You choose which folder the file tools work in and which environment Shell uses: local Windows, WSL, or SSH to a server you own. Keep the work meant only for files and servers you are allowed to manage.

To reach us, use the Send feedback button inside the app. It is the only support channel this site describes, and you can use it for questions about privacy, bugs or ideas.
The installer is not code-signed yet, so compare its SHA-256 checksum with the published manifest before you run it. The Windows command certutil prints the hash, and the download page shows the full command.
Windows SmartScreen may warn about the unsigned installer. Click More info and then Run anyway only after the checksum matches. The setup program is about 34 MB, and the portable single .exe is about 25 MB.
